Progesterone?

Hi ladies, I’m almost 41 and just had my second miscarriage this year. Someone suggested I get my progesterone checked. Is that something I can discuss with my regular OBGYN or will they refer me to a fertility doctor? I want another baby so bad but I’m also concerned about the cost as my instance doesn’t cover any infertility issues.

Your OB can order it..also she / he can order an AMH testnto check your egg reserve ..if ure low on vitamin D it could read low ..u d do the progesterone about 10 days after u think u ovulated so testing w strips is best ..I did my AMH at the same time.A good reference to become preg ant naturally..Iva Keene ..she has a coaching program that's affordable ..can Google her Good luck ..I conceived at 41 n a half while taking spirulina ..a nutrient dense alkaline green supplement

I'm so sorry for the loss. Your OB can for sure check and prescribe progesterone in early pregnancy. They might just do it when you get preggo next time to be safe. That's what happened to me.   I didn't do fertility treatment but was close to making an appointment after our second loss. Don't give up...it take just one good egg to stick. I know how hard it is when your older and feeling that time slip away. Sending you all the baby dust I can... 😁
