The reflux?

Anyone else waking up in the middle of the night throwing up stomach acid (literally just fluid) due to heartburn and acid reflux??? This is me just about every night!
I try to sleep at an incline for most of the night but I usually end up flat on my side causing the reflux.
But man, I feel sooo much better after I throw up all that acid because the burning is gone and I can sleep normally!

Yess!!! Well I haven’t thrown up yet. Mine started two nights ago, waking me up feeling like I needed to throw up with reflux  and then after sitting up for a while I can lay down to go back to sleep. I’ve heart burn bad since first trimester and have been taking Pepcid AC daily to control it. But it isn’t even touching this stupid reflux. I hope is not like this for the rest of our pregnancies, I already have the worst time sleeping.

Yes!!! Only thing that finally helped me was Omeprazole? I think that’s what it’s called. I’ve tried everything. Nexium, Pepcid, TUMS, rolaids, Zantac (before recall), everything.

I would ask your doctor for something. I had that and ask the doctor for something to take and haven’t had an issue since.

yes I now take anti acid before bed or else the morning will be hell or I won't get much sleep at all

this is me all day everyday! no matter what i eat or drink. i can be relaxing on my couch and all of a sudden throw up on myself bc it gets so intense so fast. going to talk to my dr tomorrow at my apt! hoping for relief soon

Yes this started happening to me last night! Threw up in my mouth like three times it was horrible! I eventually doubled pillows and that helped. I’m hoping it was a one night thing but I’m going to have to find some solution because 430am came real fast 😭

Every day of my life for the last 3-4 months! It’s so bad. Sometimes I literally feel like I’m breathing fire 😬 my dr told me to take Prilosec but I know it’s not their first choice, since Zantac is recalled I take it. It’s supposed to be taken daily but I can get away with taking one every 2-3 days! It’s just not immediate, takes a few hours to work. I eat tums like candy 😅 I keep reminding myself it’ll disappear the moment the baby is born. Good luck!!
