Bleeding

Okay, so before or after ovulation I have never bled, or even had brownish sticky/dry discharge.. But then I woke up 30 minutes ago, went to the bathroom and wiped and had brown blood on my TP. I haven’t had cramps or anything. My period starts in 16 days. Ovulation starts in 3 days. I’ve never have bled before ovulation, what is this a sign of?
