Taking a fertility break

After 5 failed IUIs my husband and I are deciding to take a break. We are going to try naturally for awhile and see what happens. I just need my life back. I’m tired of the shots and blood work, vaginal ultra sounds, dr appointments, the hopefulness lead by a quick disappointments. Even if just for a few months. If nothing happens I will go back for IVF but for now I need a little break. Anyone else have done this with any luck naturally or IVF after a break?
