Sperm Question

Hi friends, I’m hoping someone can help me understand what this means and/or if you and your partner ever experienced something similar.

Been trying to conceive for a year since I miscarried last December. It’s been a long year and I’ve had so many tests done to try to understand the root cause of why I haven’t been able to conceive since then.

All my tests looked normal and healthy, even better than before I got pregnant the first time. But still, nothing was happening.

Finally, after months of doing seemingly everything right, my husband and I decided it was time for him to get checked out.

He had a sperm analysis done last week and the results came back today..

The doc said his motility and sperm count all came back great. However, he had a high count of abnormal morphology in his sperm... which I had never heard of before

The doc said it could be due to a few factors, and recommended my husband watch his alcohol and caffeine consumption, as well as cut back on high intensity exercises until they can do another analysis in 4-6 weeks. The doc said if it there was still a high count of the abnormal morphology, they would look at genetic testing.

Has anyone ever experienced this with their partner? And if so, did it turn out okay?
