I had surgery in 2014 and was told to wait two years after my repair. I had my daughter in March with no complications or separating of the muscles.

I imagine you can if you have had enough time to recover and heal. This is something you need to discuss with your doctor. We can’t give you a real answer. 😊

Yes it's "safe", but it is certainly better if you close it first. If you don't fix it then your uterus will just become more distended, you increase the risk of malpresentation come delivery day,  and it will be even harder to fix the longer you go without it fixed. (Midwife here).
