When should I have my baby shower?

Hi Ladies,

FTM here 18 weeks pregnant with fraternal twins. I am wondering when you had your baby shower and what helped you decide when to have it? I don’t want to have it too early in case something happens like delivering too early (one of my biggest fears)...I also don’t want to have it too late and not be ready. I’ve also grown so fast and am worried about having it too late in the pregnancy, as I know I will only get bigger and more uncomfortable. The pregnancy has gone great so far but I know anything can happen at any time. Any insight would be so helpful. Thanks!
