Yeast infection or?..

Any suggestions or advice on possible yeast infection?

I am a FTM and exclusively breastfeed. LO is three weeks, and breastfeeding has been hard and painful. Over the last week, I have been having severe pain, burning and feels like razors, in right breast when baby latches and feeds. Pain goes mostly away between feedings but still is there. It's so bad I dread her latching on that side. Pain/burning started in left but isn't nearly as bad. I have talked to my lactation consultant who thinks it's baby's latch (but she hasn't seen me in person since pain started). Talked to pediatrician and she thinks it's yeast infection so she recommended an OTC cream and to call OB. Baby does NOT have thrush. Saw OB she thought it was pain from engorgement. Told me to pump till I'm empty. I did and I'm not sure it helped much. So, OB called in a prescription. Even though I'm starting meds for yeast infection, I'm still feeling conflicted since the consultant thinks it's baby's latch. LO and I definitely struggle to get her to open up super wide. Just getting super discouraged already.
