My five month old just cut his first tooth yesterday. He hates anything cold in his mouth. He will chew on his hands and his toys but he won't chew on teething toys. I give him infant Tylenol every 6 hours as needed. Is there anything else I can do to help him through this. He is very irritable. It takes him almost an hour to finish 7 ounces of formula cause he is just so uncomfortable. His bottom front tooth is coming in on the right side of his mouth. Sometimes even rocking him while rubbing his back doesn't even help anymore. I sing to him. I wash my hands and then massage his gums. He won't take a pacifier anymore. His naps are horrible. He used to take naps that were one to two hours long. Now I'm lucky if he naps for more than 30 minutes. I want more than anything to help him through this. I just don't know what to do.
