Failed ECV - 38 weeks

Yesterday we went in to our routine baby appointment and monitoring/ultrasound and we found out little miss decided to flip breech.

We tried an external version to try and get her to flip back. Her head is close up to my right ribs and they got her to move a tiny bit and she moved back. After three tries I couldn’t take anymore.

I’m feeling defeated because I wanted this to be my natural labor experience without pain meds and now it’s looking likely to become a c-section... I know I should just be happy she’s healthy and we still have a way to get her out but right now I’m just fighting tears.

Her date has been set for the 18th. I’ve been told I can receive an epidural and spinal to try the version again and if she turns I can be induced to deliver vaginally and if she doesn’t then we go in for the c-section. So now we wait...
