Ear infection

This isn't about my August baby, but my March baby. My August girl never had any ear infections so I'm not experienced and maybe some of you have little ones you've experienced this with. My March baby has a double ear infection, didn't respond to amoxicillin and is now on augmentin. If that doesn't clear it up will have to go to a specialist. Just curious of any experience or advice. I'm already not super thrilled she has to be on so much antibiotics and am giving her probiotics between doses.
