Yes. It's covered by my insurance and I recieved it with both of my other kids. I will do it with this one as well.

Yep, just had my blood taken for the panorama testing yesterday. My first daughter was still born and had Trisomy 18 so I qualify for the government to pay for the testing, thankfully.. because I'm in Ontario and I don't have the money for it.

Yes! I didn't for my first because I really just didn't care one way or the other, I already loved my baby toi much to change my mind about keeping him or anything like that... But when it was time to make the decision for my second we decided to do it so that we could know and be prepared for whatever. That's the reason we'll do it this time as well 🙂
I don't know too much about how health care works in the states really, but it's all covered here for us (unless we want to find out gender, then we have to pay for that part of the bloodwork) so there's really no reason to skip it. We wouldn't do anything differently if there was something (down syndrome, say). But then we have time to research, talk to other parents of children with the same thing, and prepare the best we can for our LO, and find the right support groups for when we need help etc.!

I definitely want to, just to have peace of mind and know the gender early. I’ll be talking with my doctor about this at our check up.

We are doing Panorama, just because I just hit the threshold for advanced maternal age and my insurance will cover it. I’m super nervous and just hoping everything turns out ok.

I’m only doing it for the extra ultrasound 🤭. Knowing if there is any chromosomal abnormalities will be an added bonus but isn’t my main concern
