Need help please.

Today me and my husband just found out his mother has passed away.. we are both beyond devastated.. it's just a massive shock and totally unexpected..there is alot of guilt involved as my husband hasn't been able to go home to Pakistan in a number of years.. I'm also 20 weeks.. so she won't ever be able to see or hold our first born.. I just don't know how to best be there for him.. I don't know what to say.. I just feel so useless.. we live in a town where it's just us.. we have a few friends who have come round to support him.. please can u give me some advice.. I really would appreciate it.
