Throwing up blood ???

Question

So I’m 13 weeks and 5 days. Last night I had subway for dinner. I have been throwing up bad since the night before. Well last night I threw up and there was blood in my throw up. Not too much but definitely a good noticeable amount. I’ve been feeling really crampy for a couple of days. My fiancé said it could be from throwing up so much. I have no clue what it could be but it only happened once. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions on what it could be ?

You definitely could have irritation feom throwing up so much but I'd definitely go see the doctor to be safe.

When it’s red instead of muddy color is usually from the throat or upper stomach. Likely from throwing up so much. You need some medicine to neutralize the acid and let the esophagus heal. Also make sure you’re rinsing you’re mouth with water and not brushing you’re teeth every time (the scrubbing action can erode the back of your teeth after vomiting)

Also have you ruled out listeriosis? You ate subway and pregnant so you could’ve exposed yourself to listeria bacteria. Anytime your eat deli meat cold there’s a risk of bacteria. Gotta hear that crap up.

I never took nausea medication for morning sickness, but when I got a severe stomach virus that was zombie like, like if you were around someone with it then within hours you’d be profusely vomiting and shitting yourself, I took the zofran. They gave it through an I.v at the hospital. My body couldn’t take throwing up that many times so I had to stop the vomiting. I was so so weak from no nutrients and then so weak from wretching. Definitely go get you some zofran..

Call your doctors office and ask one of the on call nurses. This happened to me with my first. I threw up so much from my morning sickness that it irritated my stomach and throat and I threw up some blood. I called and they weren’t worried. Said it was from irritation and if it continued to come get checked out. 
I would definitely call to be safe and check in and let them know what’s going on to be safe.

It could be morning sickness still? I had a couple weeks where mine got better from like 12-15 weeks I felt great and then the puking started again around 15-16 weeks for another couple weeks ! Take it easy and let your doctor know about the blood! Hopefully you just irritated your throat while puking so much and it wasn’t coming from your stomach! Feel better !! Hope the puking lets up for you!!
