I don’t think things will change 😞 RANT

So last night my husband had his company Christmas party, everyone decided that they didn’t want to invite spouses bc they did t want to have to worry about baby sitters and they wanted to be able to party without worrying about their spouse or significant other. Right off the bat I didn’t like the sound of that but my husband said he was going to go to dinner and leave before they went out to the bars (keep mind this was a WEDNESDAY NIGHT!) Our newborn is very fussy boarder line colicky at night and bed time with our 3yo is basically WW3. But dinner was at 6 so how long could it really last. Well he ignored my phone calls and text and came stumbling home completely waste after MIDNIGHT! And yup he DROVE HOME! I’m

So pissed at him right now! He said he didn’t know what to say and he got pressured in to it! HOW ABOUT MY WIFE IS AT HOME WITH THE KIDS AND A NEWBORN I NEED TO LEAVE AFTER DINNER!!! Nope!!! He chose to stay out drinking and come home

So wasted he couldn’t speak 1 coherent sentence! I’m livid he made the choice to drive home on top of it! Now he’s sleeping in bed nursing his hangover saying I’m bullying him and should have some sympathy for him because he doesn’t feel good. You’re not sick you’re hungover get your butt out of bed!

I’ve tried to talk to him

About his drinking before but he says he doesn’t think he has a problem....I’d say 4-6 bourbon and cokes every Night is a problem, but he doesn’t see it.

At what point do I just walk away 😞.
