I had a partial thyroidectomy a few years back I'm not on medication as my levels have always been within range. At 11wks pregnant they tested my thyroid and it came back at 2.5; I'm now 16wks pregnant and my midwife said today it's a little high an the doctor is happy with my levels as there not extremely high but wants the midwife to recheck during my 2nd trimester. Well the midwife ain't going to retest til I'm 28 wks which will be the start of the 3rd trimester do you reckon this is too long to wait to retest an should i contact my doctor to see if they recommend me getting checked again a bit sooner than that. Any advise would be appreciated as know little about this as it is, so even more confusing whilst pregnant.
