How was your baby after birth?

I am 33 weeks. My sugars have gotten slightly higher than they have been. I am so worried that my baby girls blood sugar levels will be crazy after birth. How were your babies sugar levels? If they were low/high what was done?

My baby had low blood sugar and mine had been PERFECTLY controlled. Unfortunately it’s just one of those things that will either happen or it won’t (also sucks that it’s more likely that they will be an issue). BUT it’s a very manageable problem. Do your best, it’s all you can do and hopefully no issues

My baby’s weight was 7lbs 6oz and had a little low blood sugar. But they just kept an eye on him during our stay at the hospital. He’s perfectly healthy now.

I was diet based for GD. Everything was controlled prior to labor. My son was born at 39 weeks weighing 8lbs, 3oz. Unfortunately, he had very low blood sugar and very bad jaundice when he was born that warranted him 5 days in the nicu and countless heel pricks to check his sugars 😞 
But he is perfectly healthy now at 8 months old! 🙏🏻
