Can you wear contacts during the c section?

Trying to plan ahead with what I can/cannot wear for c section.

I wasn’t allowed to but they did allow me to leave my glasses on so I could see her

When my nurse called to go over everything before my c section she said no contacts.

They didn’t even ask me. I had contacts on (unplanned C section)

Wore mine for both emergency and planned. Was never asked. Even had my jewelry on.

Generally, no contacts are allowed during surgery.

They should go over all of that before your CS. Ask your doctor. Personally I wouldn’t for comfort reasons. 🤷🏻‍♀️
