PREPARING FOR SALON APPOINTMENT?

I have an appointment tomorrow to color my hair (balayage) I’ve never had my hair colored, do I wash my hair beforehand? Do I come with it wet? Dry? Should I wash it tonight and straighten it tomorrow before going in since my hairs super frizzy? Advice please!

You don’t need to do anything, besides detangling if you need to. It’s always best to color hair that’s dirty

Dont do anything. You dont need to wash it. You definitely shouldnt straighten it. Just leave it. It doesn't matter if its dirty, or if theres product, or if its frizzy.

Do not wash it, or do anything to it just go in just like it is... my hair is super frizzy also and super thick to and they find it better to apply it when it's honestly dirty lol not like grenge at it dirty just like not clean because sometimes when u wash it it dont process right... and when I do clients hair I would prefer they come in with nothing on it and dirty u will get it washed right after it is rinsed out.. and sometimes they even style it for you once it is finished (when I mean dirty I'm not talking about weeks long dirty lol I'm just talking bout it just being bed head lol I usually wash my hair every other day because it get oily if I do everyday) no one will judge you because its frizzy or dirty because your at a salon they see far worse then that lol... update with pics once finished do a before and after
