There are a lot of different swings out there, they have different speeds, some play music, some can turn different ways, but having one before baby is born is going to be so helpful. Babies are soothed while you rock them to sleep, and although it’s so sweet to see them fall asleep in your arms mommas need sleep too. Having a swing ready to go is a great alternative to you having to rock them to sleep. Once baby is asleep in the crib you can start the transition to crib. The swing I would recommend is the one and only mamaroo. Even though it is on the more pricey side, I love this swing and think it’s so worth it. This swing can mimic 5 different motions, which is great when baby gets bored of the typical back and forth.
