Grow with me car seat?

Question

When I was pregnant, we bought everything last minute, and I bought a travel system for my daughter . Well now the car seat is starting to be to small because she’s growing too fast . I didn’t know about grow-with-me car seats until after I had her . Does anyone have one currently and would like to share their experience? My daughter is 11weeks old. How does it work, and is it worth it?

I have a travel system that I still use with my daughter, she’s about to be 8 months next week. But just got a convertible car seat during the Black Friday sales so haven’t started using it yet. I like it though cause once she’s using it it’ll be the only car seat she’ll need till she’s big enough to sit on her own. It’ll become front facing when she’s big enough/old enough  and then becomes a high back booster and low back booster. Part of the reason I haven’t started using it yet is because I love the ability to take her travel system car seat out of the car if she’s asleep and either carry it into the house or snap it into the stroller so I can run errands without having to wake her up and get her out.

I have the pria 85 max and I LOVE IT! It’s so comfy, the padding is easy to clean. It’s machine washable and it’s so easy to take on and off. She screamed every second in her infant seat and as soon as I put her in this, she hasn’t screamed since. It is kinda heavy to move between cars, so I rarely move it. But it was sooo easy to install!

I used a convertible seat since birth. I decided to do that purely just to save money but also it was personally a perk to not have to lug a large 15 lb car seat up and down my stairs to the apartment. He's always been comfortable in it and I genuinely have no complaints. I definitely will do the same for my next.
