Mentally preparing myself

De

Here I am imagining every possible scenario of me going into labor trying to prepare myself for anything. I’m not really nervous about giving birth as this is my second and my first wasn’t so bad. What I’m more worried about is my 3yr old. Like I really hope she’s not at school or sleeping when the time strikes. I want this all to go as smoothly as possible for her. The plan is to first call my SO if he happens to be at work, and then call my parents to fetch my daughter and then go to the hospital. So I’m just really hoping labor strikes on a weekend to avoid my parents getting my daughter to and from school and fudging up her bedtime routine. Also hoping it’s during the day so I’m not having to wake my daughter up in the middle of the night to send her to her grandparents house. Ugh but of course all I can do is hope for the best.
