Positive Induction Stories/Thoughts/Advice! (1cm dilated and 50% effaced)

So I understand it is different for everyone. I also understand that the closer your body is to being ready to go naturally, the more receptive it is to the induction process. I'm a FTM with my rainbow IVF baby and so excited but obviously nervous about delivery. I'm 37 weeks today, 1cm dilated and 50% effaced, with induction scheduled at 39 weeks (12/27) due to GD. Anyone have any thoughts/stories? I'm especially interested if someone else had similar dilation/effacement. TIA!
