6th and final letrozole round. Now what?
I'm about to start my 6th letrozole round and I'm nervous. Nervous for it to fail and nervous for what the next step is. Our RE told me that since I had done 3 letrozole rounds with an OB she will give me 3 more rounds with the trigger and IUI if we want it. We had a chemical the first round with her. The second didn't conceive and now we're about to start the 3rd. We're doing IUI this time. My husband and I have agreed that we do not think IVF is right for us. What are all the other options so I have an idea when I go into my meeting with the doctor. So far my list contains; trying unmedicated until we can do letrozole again (I don't ovulate on my own), injectables with IUI, fostering, adoption, donors in all the different directions that can go and do nothing at all and quit trying all together. We have one little one. The pressure isn't as great, but I feel so incomplete. My husband cried when I told him I wasn't pregnant. I think he feels even more incomplete than I do. 😭
