I’m bleeding off my period?

I just started bleeding and cramping about two days ago but I just got off my period about a week ago so I have no idea what’s going on lol it’s like slimy blood and it soaks through my underwear and pants. I recently had to get my iud taken out and I forgot to take my birth control pills for about 3-4 days and I was wondering if it would have to do with that???? Hopefully someone can tell me what the heck is happening

When you are on the pill, you have 2 hormonal:
1) enough hormones to prevent ovulation and menstruation (these are the 21 active pills)
2) 7 inactive pills allowing your hormone levels to drop and cause an artificial period called withdrawal bleeding 
Your body does not have a calendar to decide when to period, just these 2 states.
When you skip pills, your hormone levels drop and you get withdrawal bleeding, the same as when you get to the 7 inactive pills. Remember that your body does not have a calendar or natural cycle while you are on the pill, only these 2 hormonal states that controls your period.

Most likely it’s due to just getting your iud out and missing your pills. 
Try to remember to take your pills because when you do and then forget some one week your body thinks it’s your period time.
