How do people seriously not know the difference between a cold sore and canker sore? Not trying to be rude or anything, but this isn’t the first post I’ve seen like this. Google it. A cold sore is on the outside of the mouth, a canker sore is on the inside. A cold sore is caused by a herpes virus, a canker sore there is no one known cause for it but can be a result of multiple things. I get canker sores bc of stress and if something is too hot. My mouth is really sensitive to hot stuff. Someone else may be prone to canker sores bc of a vitamin deficiency. That is a cold sore, not canker sore.
