We won our volleyball game today! 2-1!

I am a 36 year old, married woman with Asperger's Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. My husband is neurotypical. He supports me in many ways, including my participation in Special Olympics. I play volleyball and tennis. He comes to at least one game each season for each sport I play. He's my cheerleader and photographer. My team loves him and always asks about him. He is a sports journalist for the newspapers, so I am often asked when he will do a piece on my team. Lol. (Special Olympics is not covered by his department.)

Special Olympics brings out a confidence in me and my teammates that can only be described as the best kind. We have fun. I enjoy the cardio workout I get when I'm on the court. I'm not the best player, but I started this volleyball team and I enjoy playing. My only concern would be not participating because of pregnancy one day. I actually planned my wedding to be two weeks after Summer Games because I knew that most of my friends wouldn't come if it was at the same time and I wanted to compete as well. Lol!

I want to know how now many of you play sports either for fun or competitively? What has been your biggest athletic achievement? For the moms out there, did you give it up or continue through your pregnancy? I'd like to hear from moms, moms-to-and future moms!
