This is what I used for my 2nd baby from birth to 3 months then transitioned to his crib (he’s 6 months old now). I swear this product is why I was able to get more sleep/feel more rested this time around by having him safely in bed with me.

I got this that I’m gonna try out with baby #2. My first slept in the bed with us for the first month with nothing and all was fine but her and her dad both slept like starfish and I’d end up getting booted out of bed. Lol. Then she slept in a Rock n Play right next to our bed for 5 months (yes I knowwwwwww it’s dangerous, not recommended, blah blah). This is called the SwaddleMe by your side sleeper

I’m sorry but none. An adult mattress is dangerous for babies. They’re not firm enough, even with some contraption on top. I’ll attach a pic that shows exactly why it’s dangerous. Please consider looking into safe sleep. There’s a great Facebook group called Safe Sleep and Baby Care- evidence based support.

Follow safe sleep guidelines for co sleeping and you’ll do just fine. It’s the only way either of us have survived the last 10 weeks. We have an off brand dock a tot for naps and a co sleeper with mesh sides for overnight.

I bought the swaddle me by your side sleeper and have a snuggle me organic as a lounger first supervised sleep but i wanted to share these on Marshall’s. They sell dock a tot in a few prints and the snuggle nest harmony is on sale now. My friend uses that as her cosleeper in bed. I am not sure if the sides are mesh like the swaddle me by your side.

Sniglar Crib Co-Sleeper Hack
So we were planning on getting a king size bed and co sleeping with the swaddle me one. BUT ended up doing this exactly with this crib. If you or your hubby are even slightly handy this site actually walks you threw how to set it up. I love it! it's like an extension of our bed, shes still right there. If she fusses shes within arms reach for everything and it's much bigger than those little bedside co sleepers and once we want to move her to her room we already have the crib. But for now she just sleeps with us.

I know they say not to co sleep but I do it. I have a bassinet beside the bed but my baby refuses to sleep in it. I have an off brand Dockatot that I also prop up a little so my little man can kinda set up he doesn’t like to sleep completely flat. He also has to have me touching him in order for him to sleep sound.
