Husband NOT helping

Question

I’m only 5 weeks along and he’s already not helping me with small stuff. What do I do? I don’t wanna have a baby with someone who doesn’t care enough to help this soon in pregnancy.

Funny when I was pregnant I wrote the same thing but when I was further along. You’re only 5 weeks what is there to do ?? It’s too early, and some guys just don’t care to do anything this soon. If wasn’t until I was 22 weeks or so when my SO would rub my stomach because that’s when he could feel the baby kick. You’re only 5 weeks there’s nothing for him to help you with. Give it time. And please understand just like wedding stuff guys aren’t into picking out clothes, nursery stuff, planning the baby shower etc. Most guys won’t really show emotions until they can feel, or physically see the baby. I tried to force my SO to go to doctors appointments and made me sad he didn’t want to go, but he explained there was just no reason for him up until we did the Anatomy and he could see the gender That’s when it was all real. By choice he started going to appointments the bigger I was getting.
