How long did you wait before getting pregnant again and why?

Those who got pregnant before 6 months pp, did you have any complications? Was the csection scar gone when you got pregnant?

My doctor told me not to till 1 year pp.

Csection was 7 mo pp but it was an accident  and was able to have my second via vbac.

I was told to wait at least 24 months before we got pregnant again and we tried using condoms but when my husband and I would drink we wouldnt remember to put one on all the time and I'm allergic to all birth control so we decided at 3 months pp that if it was meant to happen we wouldnt stop it but  I was very closely watching my cycles and making sure we didn't do anything on my fertile window but I had missed one cycle in june (5 months pp) and boom found out we were pregnant July 4th and am due March 10th, 2020 and my first baby turns one on Saturday, Dec. 21st.

I didn't deliberately wait but with breastfeeding my pregnancies were at least 13 months apart, the 13 months being the time I'd tried to wean, when baby self weaned it was more like 19 months plus apart. With my bottle fed baby I was pregnant within six months, athough that one we lost, But after Baby four I wasn't pregnant again for over three years. But I also didn't have a period for 2.5 years Plus as she nursed so often!
I believe however that God opens and closes the womb, so that was my reason for not 'wanting' to try to conceive. We have been prayerfully-waiting for a 5th baby to stick for 8 years though! I know God plans our times and habitations though, but if you can breastfeed I think it can be God's way of naturally allowing your body time to heal and nurture your little one.

I had my son Via c section July 4th and found out I was pregnant with my daughter 6 months later had her October 4th the next year , it was a little rough having my second c section so now I’m having my 3rd and my daughter is a year and 2 months old and I’m 17 weeks along

I was told I could start trying at 6 months after my c section. I waited 10 months and had a successful vbac 18 months after my c section. It’s recommended to have at least 18 months between births for a vbac.

My first c section was June 20th 2013 and my second c section was may 28th 2014.
