Sleep regression at 6 months?
I need help! It’s going on 5 days now that my 6.5 month old is waking between 5:30-5:45 am! 🤦🏻♀️ it’s fine during the week because we usually have to wake her at 6:15am to feed her before work but on Saturday and Sunday she used to let us sleep until 7am. 😫
Her bedtime is currently 7pm. Her last nap ends around 4:30 but her total daytime sleep is between 2-3 hours, averaging 2.5 most days. She’s always been a cat napper, though. Should I try to push her last feed by 15 minutes to put her to bed by 7:15/7:30? She’s always so grouchy and tired by 6:30 though. I’m at my whits end and out of ideas!
Her room is dark, warm (but not too warm), we use white noise and humidifier, put her in size up diaper so she’s not too full. She has a bedtime routine that works and putting her down isn’t an issue. Is 6 month sleep regression a thing? Should I just continue with what used to work and power through it or try to push the last feed by 15 minutes? TIA!
