Just ranting.....

My husband works for a tree company. However, it’s a one man owned company. It’s just the owner and my husband, sometimes the owner will hire help for a few days. He’s been working for this man for almost 9 months (which from what the owners wife tells me, my husband is his longest employee). Anyway, when my husband was hired, he was told that he will have work every day (Monday - Friday and Saturday’s are optional) and the owner told my husband to call every Sunday night to see what time he has to be at work Monday morning (his hours vary daily). So, last night, my husband called his boss. He says “hey, (boss name), do I need to be there for 8 in the morning or what time?” Boss man says “no, I’m duck hunting for the next 3 days”. This man never called my husband to let him know or anything. Not to mention, we have 2 bills due this weekend and Christmas next week. He could’ve called so my husband could’ve lined some other work up. I’m just venting and stressing. My husband told me not to worry because he’ll make a few phone calls, but how can I not help, I am a worry wart! 🤷‍♀️
