Ive had sex with some people who were/are good friends, but not just for fun really... we liked each other and had some type of connection like that at some point.. but sometimes people decide they don't want to be together or are better as friends. 
I've never had a sexual situation with a female. Maybe a little flirting. 
I've never had sex with my male best friend. I'm not really interested in that.
