Products for bad breath? 😷

So two weeks ago I had one of my back upper teeth 🦷 taken out ouch 😣 yes I know, well I’ve been having really bad breath to the point where my husband has been maki big comments about it. I brush and floss everyday and he sees me but still since they took this tooth out I’ve been having bad breath. Sometimes he says it smells like blood sometimes I taste/smell it too. I’ve brush the area and blood comes out and after I rise 3 times there no blood. So idk if there’s something I can do or you can suggest please help

Rinse with epsom salt and warm water, it helps clean oral wounds and gets inflammation/irritation down

Use a tongue scraper, that's where a lot of bacteria accumulates and causes bad breath.

Be careful brushing the area, it shouldn't be bleeding still. You may consider calling the dentist that removed it and asking what they suggest. I had a tooth pulled on friday, and haven't had any smell issues but I've been kinda babying it, i brush everywhere except that spot, and rinse with warm salt water multiple times a day. Over cleaning it can cause issues as well, but when i had my wisdom teeth removed (they were cut out and then stitched over the holes), i had a lingering smell until everything healed up. Just keep an eye on it, as long as you aren't having any pain it shouldn't be an issue.

DO NOT BRUSH THE AREA. Mine took 4 weeks to completely close up. Brush around it and use mouthwash or salt water rinse. It only smells because it’s healing so rinse it with mouthwash when you think you need to freshen up.

Sometimes it's just part of the healing process. Don't over clean with harsh products or it can irritate the healing. My husband had heavy dental work and an extraction and the same happened with him. It just took time. But if you notice that it's worse or it gets inflamed then that can be sign of infection.
