*Update* Aggressive Cervical Exam

**Update** I'm in labor, guys!

I am 39 + 1. I had a cervical exam this afternoon around 4:30. I was 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. It was a much more aggressive exam than my previous ones, even the doctor acknowledged that it was. It's now about 11pm and for the past couple of hours, I have been experiencing horrible horrible cramps. The pain radiates from my lower back through my abdomen, sometimes going down my upper thighs as well. And my stomach tightens up really really tight. But I don't think it's in a way that goes away and comes back in a manner that I can time. It just tightens up really tight and stays that way for a long time. It's past uncomfortable, it's just painful now. It almost knocks the breath out of me. I was absolutely starving, tried eating dinner, and my appetite just deserted me. I couldn't get halfway through my dinner before I felt nauseous and like I couldn't eat any more. I have no idea what is going on. Has anyone experienced this or anything like it? After the exam, my doctor said it was a more aggressive exam and that I may have some spotting. I've had no spotting but I'm wondering if the exam could have caused this pain that I'm in?
