mucus plug?? 34 weeks

i’m 34 weeks just and this morning i had some mucus plug (which i know can be normal and i’ve been loosing it for a few week in little bits) but one bit had a tiny bit of pink blood in... i haven’t had any other blood or any cramps etc? could it be because my baby is starting to engage or should i be concerned? thanks in advance xx

If it wasn’t a lot I wouldn’t be too concerned but if it’s consistent and you start to notice more blood I’d call your ob/ go in to be checked out. The mucus plug isn’t really a need for concern, but with blood it’s kinda different

I would mention it to your doctor. Blood mixed in the plug is totally normal so don’t freak out but usually it happens closer to labor , 34 weeks is kinda early.
