Well damn....

Me

Had my IVF informational yesterday. She wants to possibly remove both tubes due to hydrosalpinx in left and possibly my right. Then she wants to do mini IVF due to my low AMH (0.4)

She said my left tube is totally open but the risk for ectopic pregnancy is high along with miscarriage due to the fluid. My right tube is totally blocked.

I am terrified of IVF not working. Even with “mini” IVF we are quoted at 15,800 plus meds ( possibly 3k) My Doctor is expensive but she said their clinics rates are 60 percent once we get to day 3.

She has amazing reviews and she is such a perfect fit for us. We got denied the loan we would need for two retrievals but we think we can do cash up front on one.

Why are we forced to make these decisions? It’s so difficult! Either take the only open tube I have and do IVF that will be difficult ( our chances are low on getting an egg or two due to AMH levels) or leave the open tube and pray for a miracle.

The thing is, we have been praying for a miracle for 5+ years and I feel like if god was going to grant us a child naturally, it would have happened by now?

Anyone with low AMH go the IVF route and it work?
