Birth Control Help

Hi

I'm 20 and have never been on bc other than a condom. My boyfriend and ai are getting serious and discussed another bc because I figured it's not best to test the waters too much. I was wondering how to go about it either through a local doctor or Planned Parenthood. Pros and cobs of both. Also any birth control reccomendations would be great too I was looking at the patch most likely. Also looking to do something more in February most likely
