How early is to early to test? Need answers

Okay so, on Sunday I got a blood test done in the ER for pregnancy just incase (I was in for my heart).. and it came back NEGATIVE. Ive been TTC for 9 months now and I really feel like this months different.. 
My period isnt until the following Saturday/Sunday (its tuesday now)..
Could the blood test be false negative because it was a week early or Am I really out for this month?

It sounds as though you had the blood test around the time you would’ve been ovulating (if period isn’t due for another week)?  You wouldn’t have been pregnant at the time but you could’ve implanted later.  Does that make sense?  I’d wait until your missed period (or 12dpo if you can’t wait) and test.

You aren’t out until your period comes. I tracked my ovulation really close so I started testing so early but I got a positive 8dpo with a very nice line and a positive digital the next day. I’m crossing my fingers for you! If your periods due Saturday I’d say go for it and try again. And maybe again on Friday. I’m impatient lol but you could have ovulated later then you thought and get a positive even later too!
