Anyone know why leggings make legs itch?

I’ve had friends tell me leggings make their legs itch to,anyone know why?my legs are so irritated from mine right nowEDIT : yes it’s all leggings and yes I wash them I only wear leggings once and then wash them because ..gross

I think it depends on the fabric!! I have quite a few pairs but this one in particular makes my legs itch so i won't wear those for long.

Maybe from rubbing the stubs of leg hair? Constant rubbing and moving the follicles can irritate and cause itching. 
Maybe you’re allergic to the laundry soap or the fabric?

My legs itch in lularoe legging but not lululemon leggings which leads me to believe for me it’s a fabric quality issue.

Is it ALL leggings? Or just a certain brand? Are all the ones that itch you made of the same materials? Are you washing them before you wear them?
