Did the Depo Provera Shot work for you?

I took the shot late August and i have been bleeding ever since, its ruining my sex life with my partner and the bleeding its just not going away, my doctor has given me pills to ‘stop the bleeding’ but it hasnt helped, what else can i do? I cant deal with it anymore.

It stopped my period immediately but it made me gain so much weight and feel sick so I got off after a year. I got onto the patch immediately which put me on track with my periods immediately too. I liked the patch but I was allergic to the adhesive so I’m taking a break from birth control as a whole. I would recommend the patch much more than the shot. Or even the pill bc it’s about the same as the patch you just gotta remember to take them but they can both stop your period if you take them to.

The best thing you could do is get off it. I only had two shots and I'm still bleeding everyday.
