My husband and I are seriously considering naming our son Evan. What comes to mind when you hear this name? What would you expect a person named Evan to be like? Thanks for your input!

My cousins name is Evan.
I think it’s a pretty safe name if you know what I mean? Simple, strong and straightforward, not too out there or unique.

I personally don’t like the name. My friends toxic ass HS boyfriend who cried if she said no to sex was named Evan 😬

I have a family member named Evan. But this side of the family is southern (US) and they pronounce it “EE - Van” rather than “Eh - Ven” 
“It’s pronounced EE - Van, ITS FRENCH!” - my grandmother
Every time she says this it makes me cringe. 
Regardless of their ridiculousness, I actually really love the name.
