How much do you spend on Christmas gifts?

How much do you spend total when it’s all said and done?! Including kids, spouse, parents, stocking stuffers, etc. I am curious to know if my spending amount is “normal”. 😊

There’s no such thing as normal depends on what you can afford and what your income is.  Only spend what you can afford.

1000-1500 and it would be worse if I had to take care of my moms family. Grandma had 12 kids plus 6 adopted and 4 generations of family. You do the math. So we don’t celebrate with them since they are out of state thank god or I would be broke lol. But we don’t do gifts with them. Just the local ones. And mostly just the kids. And my moms bffs that are like aunties and uncles. Like 6-10 adults and 5 kids. I go all out for the kids which is why I said so much. They live out of state and we ship gifts. And only 1 is in state and she gets a ton too. Mostly take the adults out to eat and do little things from bed bath and beyond or Macy’s etc or events like tickets to a show kinda thing. And celebrate after the holidays since we are never are here we go to see family that has the kids out of state.

we spent a lot more than usual because we bought our kids the nintendo switch as a joint present. which cost 400 dollars😅 id say after it’s said and done this year we’ve probably spent around 1000, including our three kids and everyone else.

I’d like to spend less but my husband’s family does gifts from everyone to everyone, so not only do we give our 6 nieces and nephews gifts but then our son gives his 6 cousins gifts as well. We did lower our budget this year though because it was just getting to be too much.
