It is not weird, but I do not advise it. What I am getting from this post is that you will be trying to get pregnant on your own somehow since the person that was your partner is in a different relationship. It has been proven that kids thrive most in a two parent household. I wouldn't knowingly bring a child into this world if my partner at the time and I weren't together.
