Bumpers on the crib?

First time mom to be here and I’m hearing SO many conflicting opinions on this subject.

We did absolutely nothing in the crib except for a fitted sheet on mattress and baby on back. 💁 but you do you, it's your baby.

I bought some as I got click happy when I was ordering the set.....almost knowing full and well I would never use them (yes I wasted $100 for a picture 🤦🏼‍♀️). There was a tag on the actual bumpers I purchased stating they were dangerous. Yes, Pottery Barn will sell you bumpers, but they’ll at least tell you they’re unsafe. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I may be the odd one out. However I did use them, but not until my kid was like 8 months. They would not come untied the way i tied them (i had to cut them off when we were done with them). I weaved them in and out of the slats as the only reason I used them was because his legs kept getting stuck. It did the trick.
