Size of baby born at 36 weeks? Preemie clothes?

I’ve had family members ask if I need preemie clothes since I’m scheduled for a c section at 36 weeks. Was curious how big babies typically are born at this time and whether you needed preemie clothes? My baby has been estimated at 60th percentile at my 28 week ultrasound. I’m pretty small in size (5’2” around 115# nonpregnant weight usually) my daughter born at 40 weeks was 7#15oz

My son was born at 37 weeks and was swimming in NB clothes.  My husband and I are both over 6'0" and baby was 7 lbs and super long, but that lasted all of about a week and he grew into everything super quickly. Maybe get a few preemie things, but if the clothes are too big, it will be super temporary.

My 36 weeker weighed just over 5 pounds and was swimming in newborn clothing.

My daughter was born at 39+5 and was 6lbs 2oz and fit preemie and newborn clothes. You really wont know until they get here

My daughter was born at 36+4 and was 6lbs4oz. She wore premie clothes and diapers for a couple of weeks.

My 36 weeker was 5lbs 4oz and dropped to 4lbs 8oz.. he wore premier clothes for two weeks.

My 36 weeker was 6lbs 11oz, so we fit perfectly into NB clothes.  However, my 38 weeker was 5lbs 9oz, not quite small enough for preemie clothes, but NB was still a little too big.  The Gap has “under 7 lbs” clothing for babies that worked perfectly during the first few weeks.

My 36 weeker weighed 7 lb 12 oz so he was huge for his gestation but he wore newborn for about the first month. I might would have a preemie outfit or two and plenty of newborn
