BV???????

My ob told me that i had a bacterial infection, which I’m assuming is BV. I haven’t had any symptoms at all? Will this hurt the baby? Also, she kind of scared me because she told me do not take the medication off I’m under 12 weeks. ( I’m 12 weeks tomorrow ) and told me to wait until after Christmas... will it have a negative affect on the baby?? I’m so worried!!

I had BV with my last pregnancy. I believe I was around 12 weeks or so. I had to do 2 rounds of medication because it didnt go away. It was annoying but did go away. My daughter was born healthy and is 1.5 yrs old now, smart and healthy.

My baby is 3 months old and I found out I had this during my second trimester. I didn’t know I had it. I wasn’t on any medications because I wasn’t experiencing any of the common symptoms. I was told that it’s pretty common and that I would have to be put immediately on antibiotics when In labor or whenever I water bag breaks which ever comes first. If not, that’s when it can harm the baby. She was born healthy and is perfect. You’ll be ok. I was scared to as she is my first.
