Would you feel some type of way if your partner wore jewellery his ex gave him?

Baring in mind we’ve been together 2 years, he has a silver chain and bracelet that he’s wore since I met him but told me he bought it for himself. Anyway today he slipped up and told me his ex got it him. We not long went to his sisters wedding and he told me she was there with her husband. But I’m feeling some type of way, because she obviously seen him still wearing it.
If I wore jewellery my ex gave me he would probably get mad. 
He’s taken it off and wants new ones from me but Idk, am I wrong for asking him to take it off?

I have a pair of earrings my ex gave me I still wear. My husband uses the picture frame that his ex gave him for our pictures. But I also trust him and know that he wants me. Guess we’re just comfortable with our relationship enough to know it doesn’t mean anything🤷🏻‍♀️

Well .. let me put it to you this way , my fiancé still has his ex’s name TATTOOED on his NECK 😐 as much as I’m used to it now it still bothers me an if you’re making this post about his jewelry then I think you answered your own question assuming it bothers you as well. You should buy him new ones in my opinion that way he can wear what you gave him an love it even more cause it means something to him she’s married an he’s with you ya kno idk why he lied maybe to spare your feelings or whatever the case in my opinion you should get him something too.

I would feel the same. He could just be used to wearing it coz it’s something you don’t need to take off all the time or it can have some sentimental value. He could be someone who just doesn’t care for jewelry and liked that one piece on himself. At least he took it off when he realised it bothers you.

I wore necklace that my ex bought me for almost a year and my fiancé knew that. He wasn’t that happy about it but didn’t ask me to take it off. And you need to understand that I am a person who only likes to wear one necklace and I usually wear it for years 🤷‍♀️. Anyhow, one day he surprised me with a brand new necklace which he designed with jeweler and told me that now I don’t need to wear the one I had. 
Point here, people are creatures of habit and if this is bothering you than you can always buy him a new one as a gift from you.

I have clothes that were my exs that I bought for him. And he gave me a sweatshirt and my new boyfriend wears the sweatshirt knowing it was my ex’s. Lol but I didn’t keep any jewelry or anything else he gave me just the clothes because they are machine gun kelly shirts and if any one deserves them I did so I kept them lol

Lying about where it came from isn’t the best idea but I feel like that’s one of those innocent white lies. I know plenty of people who keep material items their exes gave them. I have plenty of things from an ex best friend and I’m not gonna get rid of them just because we’re not friends. My sister in law kept her engagement ring from her ex husband and turned it into a necklace because it was a damn nice engagement ring. She’s not keeping it for sentimental reasons. Shes keeping it because it’s a flawless 2ct Tiffany’s diamond. If she wants to tell her now boyfriend that she got it herself, I don’t see any harm in that.

I think it depends on the significance of their relationship. I have a necklace that was given to me by an ex-boyfriend that I LOVE and don’t want to get rid of, but it was not a significant relationship and I have no emotional ties to it or him whatsoever. It’s just a really unique and pretty necklace. If the relationship was serious I would probably get rid of it and feel uncomfortable wearing it out of respect for my husband.
