Home Doppler worth it ??

Question

I just went for a appointment today she used the Doppler . And omg it makes me want one now especially so my child’s father can listen . We are VERY long distance and all he gets is pictures but I visit him at the end of the month
Is the home Doppler worth it ?

I got one when I was 9 weeks and it was the best thing I ever did! I had a subchorionic hemorrhage and lots of bleeding that came with it. I probably would have run to the ER every day if I didn’t have my doppler! Great for reassurance when I had large bleeds or just felt off. I’m now 15 weeks and only use it maybe once a week just so hubby and our daughter can listen for fun!

I had one during my first pregnancy and loved it. I had ordered mine off ebay. I loved being able to hear my son’s heartbeat whenever I felt like it. It was fun trying to find it as he kept moving around. After my pregnancy I gave it to a friend of mine who was pregnant. 
But people warn against it because it can cause anxiety if you’re not able to find the heartbeat. You can be looking in the wrong place and think something is wrong, which causes you to panic and then run to the doctor. So just be mindful that it’s subjective to how far along you are and if you’re looking in the correct place.

I have one that I got from someone in my neighborhood. I haven’t used it yet though. I got it so my daughter can listen to her little sister’s heartbeat as a way of connecting with the reality of baby.
