My doctor never mentioned it. I didn’t find out you weren’t supposed to use it until I was 36 weeks with my second child, and that was just because someone I follow on Instagram mentioned it. Obviously anecdotal evidence isn’t reliable but I used skincare products while ttc and during both of my entire pregnancies and my kids are both as healthy as can be.

I did some research on this because my mom is an esthetician so I have wayyy too many products that I was curious about. From what I read it's okay to use it as long as it's not more than 2%. It'll say in the ingredients what % is in it.
